How can you reach us?
You can find out about our current trial class and introductory meeting options through our contact form or on WhatsApp.
Which channel you choose is up to you. WhatsApp may suit a short, quick question, the form a more detailed account, and the phone a direct conversation. Whichever way you write, your message reaches the same team.
Which channel suits which situation?
- Contact form: When you want to set out your goal and your questions in one go, in detail. There is no need to hurry when filling in the form; you can take as long as you like to think as you write.
- WhatsApp: When you want to ask a short question, find out the class timetable or arrange a time for a meeting.
- Phone: If you prefer talking to writing, or want to ask about several things one after another.
- Email: When you want to keep a record of the correspondence or need to share a document.
- Visiting in person: When you want to see ATC’s setting and meet the team face to face. Letting us know before you come makes it easier for us to set time aside for you.
You don’t need to send the same question through more than one channel; reaching us through one is enough. Messages sent outside opening hours are dealt with in the next working period.
What is helpful to include in your message?
You don’t need to write at length. Even so, if you include a few of the details below, we can offer you a more accurate suggestion in our first reply:
- Your goal: To feel stronger, to pay attention to your posture, to slow down, to prepare for a particular activity or simply to move regularly.
- Your experience: Whether you have exercised before and, if so, what kind of training you did and how long a break you have had.
- The discipline you are interested in: Pilates, fitness or yoga. If you are not sure, it is enough to say so.
- The way of working you prefer: One-to-one or group; or would you like to consider both?
- When you are available: Weekdays or weekends, mornings or evenings.
You don’t have to know which discipline is right for you. By looking at your goals, your experience and your needs, we can decide together on the discipline and way of working that suit you.
A sample first message
If you are not sure what to write, a few sentences like the ones below are more than enough:
What can you write to us about?
You don’t have to write to us only to sign up. These are the subjects of the messages we receive most often:
Trial class and introductory meeting
To find out the current options and arrange a time that suits you.
Choosing a discipline
To talk about which discipline is closer to your goal.
Class timetable
To find out the current days and times for each discipline.
Membership and fees
To find out about current membership options and conditions.
Health
To let us know that you have a condition that needs attention before you start.
Feedback and suggestions
To share your experience or a suggestion with us.
What happens after you write?
The process from first message to regular training consists, broadly, of these steps:
We get back to you
We read your message, answer your questions and share the current trial class and introductory meeting options.
Introductory meeting
We talk about your goals, your exercise background and your expectations. You can also ask whatever comes to mind.
Initial assessment
Through our short initial assessment process we learn about your training background, your goals and the points that need attention.
Discipline and routine
Together we decide on the discipline that suits you, a one-to-one or group way of working, and a sustainable weekly routine.
We have set out the thinking behind these steps in detail on the Our Approach page.
About the introductory meeting
The introductory meeting is not a sales meeting but a chance to get to know each other. Its purpose is to understand together whether ATC is right for you and, if it is, where it would be right to start.
What will we ask?
- Why you want to start moving and what kind of outcome you picture for yourself.
- Your previous experiences of exercise; what worked and what put you off.
- The pace of your daily life: your work, your sleep pattern, which days of the week are easier for you.
- Any health conditions we need to be aware of.
What can you ask?
- The differences between the disciplines and which one is closer to your goal.
- How one-to-one and group sessions work.
- How your progress will be tracked.
- The class timetable, membership options and fees.
You don’t have to make a decision at the end of the meeting. Taking time to think it over and coming back with further questions is perfectly natural as far as we are concerned.
Your health and the initial assessment form
With some health conditions, an assessment by a doctor or the relevant health professional may be needed before starting exercise. Our initial assessment form helps us to notice situations of this kind.
Filling in the form as completely and honestly as you can is important so that the programme can be set up safely and appropriately for you. If you have a chronic condition, a past injury or operation, a medication you take regularly, or a particular circumstance such as pregnancy, please consult your doctor first. The sessions offered at ATC are not a medical diagnostic or treatment service.
Before you visit
If you would like to see ATC in person, letting us know in advance means a member of our team will be available to look after you. You can find our address and the directions link in the cards on this page.
- If you plan to train on your first visit, bring comfortable sports clothes and your water with you.
- If you are coming only for a meeting, no special preparation is needed.
- Having a short list of the things you want to ask with you makes the meeting more productive.
Things to think about before you decide
A few questions you can ask yourself before writing to us or coming to a meeting make the conversation easier. Your answers don’t need to be clear-cut; it is enough to have thought about them.
- What is the real reason I want to move? To feel more energetic, to be able to do a particular thing more easily, or simply to make time for myself?
- Realistically, how many days a week and how much time can I set aside?
- If I have started exercising before and given up, what made me give up?
- Do I like working on my own or together with others?
- What suits me better: calm, focused work or an up-tempo training session?
There are no right or wrong answers to these questions. They simply shorten the way when we are deciding on the discipline and way of working that suit you. You have a reason to move; finding it together is the most important part of the first meeting.
Your personal data
In the form we ask only for the information we need to get back to you: your name, your email address, your phone number and your message.
A few frequently asked questions
Can I have a trial class or an introductory meeting?
You can find out about our current trial class and introductory meeting options through our contact form or on WhatsApp.
I have never exercised before. Can I start at ATC?
Of course. We offer training options suited to different levels, from beginners to experienced participants. What matters is not where you start from, but that you start from the point that is right for you.
How many days a week should I come?
That depends on your goal, the discipline you choose, your current fitness and your daily life. Our trainers help you to build a routine that is sustainable for you.
For other questions you can take a look at the Frequently Asked Questions page, and you can read ATC’s story on the About page.
